Friday 25 November EuroMillions draw resulted in not one, but two lucky winning tickets. Both tickets were purchased in France. The lucky winners matched all 5 main numbers and 2 Lucky Stars to share a price pool of an estimated €61.1 million. The two French winners are the first jackpot winners since yet another ticket purchased in France scooped up a €39.3 million prize on Tuesday 8th November.

Friday’s winning EuroMillions numbers were 5, 11, 17, 23 and 28. Lucky Stars 10 and 11. There was a total of 2,697,196 winning ticket produced, including six players that matched all five numbers and one Lucky Star – won €209,908 and one Lucky Star, only missing out on the top prize by one number.
This prize winning takes the number of jackpot winners up to four since the rule changes that were introduced in September 2016. That also includes a single ticket purchased in Belgium winning the largest prize of the year when the lucky ticket holder walked away with a jackpot worth a phenomenal €197,000,000.
France’s double winners’ success, gives it a solid leads the way at the top of the EuroMillions jackpot winner table. France boasts a total of 83 winners, with closest rival Spain trailing a full 5 jackpot winners behind on 78, while the United Kingdom sits in the third with 63. Tickets purchased from France have now claimed almost a quarter of all jackpots since EuroMillions first made its debut in February 2004.
Yesterday’s €17 million did not produce any grand prize winner and the jackpot has now rolled over ahead of Friday’s draw and it is now worth €28 million, a delicious jackpot none the less that would certainly see any pre-Christmas celebrations begin with a bang.
