One lucky winner scoops incredible €166 million EuroMIllions jackpot in one of the biggest wins ever.
One very lucky EuroMIllions ticket holder has become an overnight multi-millionaire after winning the phenomenal €166 million jackpot. Tuesday night’s lucky ticket was purchased in Belgium, and the winner successfully matched all five main numbers as well as the two Lucky Stars.
It is yet to be revealed if the winner chose their numbers or used the lucky picker. The five winning numbers were 5, 12, 20,2 4, 37. Lucky Star numbers: 4 and 11.
EuroMIllions officials confirmed the €166,000,000 mega jackpot was scooped by a single winning ticket.
The draw marked the largest EuroMIllions jackpot of 2016 so far and one of the biggest sums ever won.

Tuesday’s victor is officially the biggest winner since an anonymous Portuguese player banked €190 million in October, 2014.
This victory comes after the introduction of new rules to EuroMIllions’ by its officials. In September, the cost of tickets was increased by €0.50c, allowing for frequent big jackpots.
Also part of the new rules is the introduction of another number to the Lucky Stars pool, players were required to now choose from one extra number – a total of 5 picks from 50 numbers and 2 from 12 lucky stars.
