The 33-year-old man scooped the winning sum after becoming one of three lucky ticket owners to match five main numbers and one Lucky Star in the draw of Friday 3rd March, and is already planning on a better life for his family.
Nabb purchased his winning ticket from a local shop. The single father of three claims that his newly found fortune couldn’t have come at a better time in his life, as he had been in-between jobs for the past 12 months. “Not only is it life-changing for me – it is life-changing for my family too,” Andrew told the press, he also added that the money will provide him with the possibility to treat his three kids to a better life.
The lucky winner is planning on a vacation to Tenerife and using his winnings to buy his dream car, an Audi A3. Andrew will also have to follow through with his driving licence before he can get behind the wheel: “The win will enable me to pay for driving lessons – something I never believed I would be able to do,” he smiled. “I don’t know many people who can say their first ever vehicle will be an Audi. But, thanks to The National Lottery, mine will be.”
Mathew believes his winnings will allow him to appreciate the finer things in life and has his mind set on a new three-bedroom house for his family: “My kids are my world. I’ll do anything I can to give them a helping hand in life, starting with the perfect home to grow up in,” the winner beamed. And the spending doesn’t stop there for the merry Mancunian: “My friends just launched his clothing line Infinity North and they’ve got some really nice gear so I’ve splashed out and got myself a new wardrobe and trainers.”
